The Borough of Bogota, Bergen County, NJ is accepting bids to purchase the above listed Fire Truck, details of which are listed below, according to the requirements and terms contained in this Notice.

Bidding & Purchase Instructions and Requirements:

 

• Bids must be emailed to admin@bogotaonline.org

​

• Bids must be received prior to September 12, 2024 at 10am. 

​

• Bidders will receive a reply email to confirm receipt of their bid.  Bidders who do not receive a confirmation email have an affirmative obligation to notify the Borough to confirm receipt prior to September 12, 2024 at 10am.

​

• Bid emails must contain the legal name of the person or entity making the bid, their resident or business address, and the name and phone number of a contact person to be contacted by the Borough for all matters related to this process.

​

• The Minimum Bid is $75,000.00.

​

• Bidders will be notified of results via email by September 12, 2024 at 12pm.

​

• The winning bidder must pay a nonrefundable deposit of $20,000 via certified bank check or wire by September 17, 2024 at 11am.

​

• The Borough Council will adopt a Resolution awarding sale and approving a purchase/sale contract to the winning bidder at its Meeting on September 19, 2024.

​

• The winning bidder must sign the purchase/sale contract and make final payment in full via certified bank check or wire by September 25, 2024 at 11am and must take possession of the Fire Truck within 2 business days of making the final payment.

• The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bid(s) for bidder’s failure or refusal to comply or perform with all requirements and terms of this Notice.  The Borough reserves the right to award the sale to the next highest bidder if the highest or a next higher bidder fails or refuses to comply or perform with all the requirements and terms of this Notice.  The Borough reserves the right to cancel, withdraw, modify, or otherwise amend the requirements and terms of this Sale and/or this Notice and shall notify the public and all bidders of same.
